Depression
Finding Light Again
When you’re living with depression, even small things can feel impossibly heavy. Getting out of bed, answering messages, or taking care of yourself can start to feel like too much. The idea of change—or even starting therapy—can feel overwhelming when you already have so little energy to give.
Depression doesn’t always look like sadness. Sometimes it shows up as numbness, irritability, or the quiet sense that you’re just going through the motions. You might find yourself disconnected from the people and activities that once mattered to you, or questioning what’s “wrong” with you for not being able to just snap out of it.
For some, depression comes after loss, stress, or a major life shift. For others, it seems to appear without warning, settling in like a fog that won’t lift. However it shows up, it’s not a sign of weakness—it’s a signal from your mind and body that something needs care.
Therapy can help you find your way back to yourself.
In our work together, we’ll start by creating a safe, supportive space where you don’t have to pretend you’re okay. We’ll gently explore what’s contributing to your depression—whether that’s unresolved pain, past experiences, or the weight of expectations that have become too much to carry alone.
Together, we’ll work toward:
Understanding your emotions and what they’re trying to tell you
Building small, practical tools to ease the heaviness day by day
Reconnecting with your motivation, joy, and sense of meaning
Rediscovering parts of yourself that may have gone quiet for a while
Depression therapy isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about helping you feel more connected, supported, and hopeful again.
